Ncompass Technologies (formerly The Lawrence Group), is a 34 year old company that started in 1977 as a Graphic Design and custom mapping company. Originally we created school district maps the old way, by hand. NCompass has been providing GIS services to national and regional clients since 1983.

NCompass has grown considerably serving clients in local government, school districts, public and private utilities and private sector corporations. With the coming of GIS we have created address intelligent accurate street centerline data and currently licensed our data to over 250 public and private agencies.

Recently, NCompass Technologies has developed a Student Geographical Information Service product specifically for the school district market. GuideK12 is a unique cost effective web based solution that incorporates information from a variety of sources, enabling, analysis, strategic planning, improved communication and the ability to view this information spatially.

As a map publisher and distributor NCompass publishes the Kings Street Atlas, American Road Atlas, Hunting Road atlas and other custom atlases. NCompass is a NASCAR licensee publishing a NASCAR Road Atlas and NCompass works with the various NASCAR sponsors creating printed premium and incentive products.

Our distribution company delivers printed map products to over 1200 convenience stores via DSD (Direct Store Delivery). The King’s Street Atlas is the Twin Cities leader.
